Forrest Tahdooahnippah is Chairman of the Comanche Business Committee and Comanche Tribal Council. He was sworn into office on May 24, 2024. Chairman Tahdooahnippah comes from the Tahdooahnippah and Monetathchi families. Chairman Tahdooahnippah is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Minnesota Law School. He graduated from Stanford University in 2007 with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy. In 2010, he received his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude and Oder of the Coif from the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to being elected to office, Chairman Tahdooahnippah was an attorney. He served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ann D. Montgomery from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2023, he was an attorney with Dorsey & Whitney LLP. In 2022, he joined the faculty at Mitchell Hamline School of Law as an Assistant Professor of Law. At Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Chairman Tahdooahnippah was affiliated with both the Intellectual Property Institute and the Native American Law and Sovereignty Institute.
