Ashley Roach

Ashley Roach is Chief Prosecutor for the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma and has practiced law for a decade with a focus on tribal law, juvenile law, criminal prosecution, estate planning, and ICWA enforcement in state courts. Her work centers on strengthening tribal legal systems while ensuring they reflect the needs and values of the community they serve.

Ashley is actively involved in developing a Healing to Wellness Court for the Absentee Shawnee Tribe, an initiative that emphasizes accountability, recovery, and community-based solutions over punitive approaches. She has also contributed to drafting tribal legislation, including the development of an Adult Protective Services code aimed at better safeguarding vulnerable community members.

In addition to her prosecutorial work, Ashley is a certified peacemaker, a form of dispute resolution grounded in tribal traditions that prioritizes restoration, dialogue, and balance. She brings this perspective into her legal practice, working to integrate culturally relevant approaches into modern legal frameworks.

Ashley is also a co-founder of All Rise, a legal cooperative focused on collaborative and community-driven legal services and mother to an 18-month old bundle of chaos.
