Emily Eleftherakis

Emily Eleftherakis is the Executive Director of the Tribal Sovereignty Institute at Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she leads initiatives and advances programming and dialogue centered on tribal sovereignty and the legal issues impacting Oklahoma’s 39 tribal nations. She also serves as an Instructor of Law at OCU Law, teaching courses including the American Indian Wills Clinic, Indian Civil Rights, and Advanced Topics in Indian Law. In addition to her academic work, Emily is Of Counsel at Krahl Goerke Meyer & Behenna, where her practice focuses on estate planning, post-death administration, and corporate and real estate matters. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers each year since 2018. Emily is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians.
