Joseph Williams (Mississippi Choctaw) is an attorney in private practice in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He lives and maintains his law practice within the boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Reservation in east central Oklahoma. He has over twenty years of experience in Federal Indian law and policy and has worked for various tribes and tribal entities in Oklahoma as well for his own tribe on the Mississippi Choctaw Reservation. He proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Indian Legal Services, Inc., is past Chair for the Oklahoma Bar Association-Indian Law Section, is former Secretary for the Oklahoma Indian Bar Association, and is currently Chief Justice for the Supreme Court of the Sac & Fox Nation located in Stroud, Oklahoma.
