Mike Fina

Mike Fina is a municipal leader, communications strategist, and public policy advocate with extensive experience in government, telecommunications, and organizational leadership. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Oklahoma Municipal League, representing 588 cities and towns across Oklahoma and leading initiatives focused on municipal finance, infrastructure, and local governance. Before joining OML, Mike served as Mayor of Piedmont after previously serving on the City Council. His career in Oklahoma state government includes leadership roles as Chief of Staff to the Lieutenant Governor, Communications Director for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, Deputy Communications Director and Press Secretary for the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and aide to Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Jim Roth. Mike also served as President of True Wireless, gaining significant experience in corporate leadership and telecommunications policy. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Public Relations from Texas State University, where he played collegiate football. Mike is recognized statewide for his expertise in municipal policy, leadership, and public affairs.
