Charles Tripp

Member of the Cherokee Nation.  Charles has six children. Received two BSBAs, an MBA and JD from the University of Tulsa.   Co-Founder of Legal Advocates for Indian Country, LLP., which provides legal services for Tribes, tribal agencies and tribal members, as well as consulting services to tribes and tribal entities.   Charles is a tribal trial judge or tribal appellate justice at the Ponca, Pawnee, Delaware, United Keetoowah Band, Ponca of Nebraska, Ute, Kaw, and CFR Court of Appeals.  Charles received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National American Indian Tribal Judges Association, the 2023 Tribal Judge of the Year from the Oklahoma Indian Child Welfare Association, and the 2012 Judge of the Year from the National Tribal Child Support Association.
