Chad Harsha

Chad Harsha was appointed Attorney General of the Cherokee Nation in 2023. In this role, he serves as the Nation’s chief legal advisor, overseeing all litigation and providing counsel on a broad range of legal matters affecting the Nation and its entities.

Prior to his appointment, Harsha served as Secretary of Natural Resources from 2019 to 2023, and previously held positions as Assistant Attorney General and General Counsel.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa.
