Bryan is a Principal with the Tribal Practice Group at Powers, where he represents clients on a wide range of issues, from gaming to governance, and lands to education. Prior to joining Powers in 2025, Bryan served as the Assistant Secretary – Indian Affairs at the US Department of the Interior from 2021 to 2025. He has also served as Tribal President of Bay Mills Indian Community, and Chief Judge of the Tribal Court. He is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Law.
